Reasons Why I Love: Leo

(POV of an Aries)

I’ve never met a Leo that doesn’t have the type of gaze that pours into you. It really is mesmerising, and for someone who hates eye contact, that’s quite a daydream inside of a nightmare.

They’re so bold and know exactly what it is that they want, and they’re not going to let anyone get in their way when they’ve made their final decisions about it. But, beneath the confidence, there’s also a lot of vulnerability. Sometimes they fear that they’re not good enough — which, when you first catch wind of this — is quite disconcerting considering all of their projected self-assurance.

This same vulnerability does not only have its negatives, however. It allows them to bare their soul to those that they love, and unapologetically so. I find it rather inspiring.

They’re extremely soft deep down, and have one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen. But they often take the fall so hard, whether they’ll vocalise it or not.

They’re so easy to be around one on one, and they have a comforting atmosphere that thwarts off any awkwardness. They’re not afraid of the big discussions, and are always willing to be open and honest; which is quite a rare and wonderful trait.

Leos are intelligent within their own rights; whether that’s intellectual intelligence or emotional intelligence. Quite a lot of them have the best of both worlds when they open themselves up to change and possibility, and I find in that sense that it makes them extremely unique.
